UK .NET community developerdeveloperdeveloper day

Well DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper! Day is done. Thanks to all of you who came along to hear me speak about Data Access Patterns. Early feedback on the day and the first reviews suggest that I tried to cover too much in the session and so some sections were too rushed. Thanks for the feedback, I think you may be right. Probably down to inexperienced presenter nerves over running dry on material. Still folks seem to have found it useful all the same. For those of you that want to take some more to look over the code the slides and code for my presentation are now available  here. Enjoy! Feel free to pass back any comments or issues. And be sure to dig deeper by looking into the books by Fowler and Nock. You can find more information on the O/R mapping tool NHibernate here. Of course there are others about as well, try this for a starting list.

Thanks to Craig Murphy and Jonathan Hodgson for all their efforts behind the scenes and for the team at MS for being such good hosts.

Looking forward to the next one.
